Nutritional Services Manager
Monday-Friday, Days
Responsible for all aspects of department operations including food procurement, departmental staffing, education, finances, nutritional services and quality assurance program.
Qualifications
Must have completed a dietetic technician or dietetic assistant training program, correspondence or classroom, approved by the American Dietetic Association/Dietary Manager Association.
- 2-3 years management of food service operation experience preferred.
- 2 years clinical nutrition experience preferred.
- General knowledge of Columbia Basin Hospital and operation of Food and Nutrition Services in a critical access hospital setting.
- Demonstrated skills in budget and financial reports preparation, employee scheduling, food procurement, employee supervision skills.
- Competency in basic nutrition support principles and techniques; applied knowledge of specific medical nutrition therapies appropriate for disease states and identified nutrition status preferred.
- Computer skills that include word processing, spreadsheets, and email is required.
- Must have current Food Workers card.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow oral/written instructions in English.
